Job Full Description
BRAZING TECHNICIAN
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $20-$25 BOE
Where: East Side Indianapolis
Evaluation Hire: Temp to Hire
Job Duties:
- Perform manual and/or automated brazing on copper, brass, and steel components used in HVAC/R systems
- Work with vacuum brazing equipment and processes, ensuring proper atmosphere control and joint integrity
- Inspect brazed joints for quality, leaks, and compliance with engineering requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
- Operate and maintain brazing tools, vacuum pumps, and charging equipment
Qualifications:
- Assembly/Production
- Hands-on experience with refrigerant charging into compressor-based systems
- Strong experience with vacuum systems and vacuum leak testing/evacuation procedures
- Experience brazing technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or similar manufacturing environment
- Must be comfortable lifting continuously
- Work in environments with heat and industrial equipment
