Grain Elevator Operator – Job Overview
We’re hiring dependable Grain Elevator Operators to join a team in Montezuma, KS. This role involves grain handling, equipment operation, and general facility support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities

Operate grain dryers
-
Load and unload railcars and trucks
-
Assist with grain handling and storage
-
Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-
Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and sitting as needed
-
Reliable transportation
-
Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
-
Dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Schedule & Pay
-
Pay: $17.50/hour
-
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM (with overtime during harvest and weekend availability)
