Now Hiring: Entry-Level Machine Shop Laborer (Night Shift) – $18/hr | Northshore Area
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Metal Shop Laborer to join our team on the night shift at a well-established metal fabrication facility located in the Northshore area.
Position Details:

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour- Commission incentives after certain timeframe

Schedule: Night Shift (Exact hours will be discussed during interview)

Location: Northshore, LA

Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist with general labor in a machine shop environment
-
Handle and work with metal materials and parts
-
Perform basic cleaning and preparation of metal components
-
Operate forklifts to move materials and supplies (training provided if needed)

Maintain a clean and safe work area
-
Support machine operators and shop staff as needed
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or machine shop setting is a plus, but not required

Willingness to learn and work in a physically active environment

Basic forklift experience preferred

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Must be dependable and able to work night shift hours
