EDM Setup Machinist – Wire & RAM

Location: Pasadena, MD
Pay: $30–$40 per hour
Schedule: Day and night shifts available
Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced EDM Setup Machinist to join a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing company in Pasadena, MD. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Makino Wire and RAM EDM machines in a fully air-conditioned facility.

Previous EDM machining experience is required. This is not an entry-level position.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Makino Wire and RAM EDM machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
• Adjust machines to maintain quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Previous EDM machining experience
• Experience with Wire EDM, RAM EDM, or both
• Ability to independently program and set up machines
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Aerospace or precision-manufacturing experience is preferred
• Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits

• $30–$40 per hour, based on experience
• Hiring bonus after 90 days
