Call Center Representative (1st Shift)
We are seeking a professional and reliable Call Center Representative in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive calls with professionalism. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, self-sufficient, and has a proven track record of job stability.
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: 1st Shift (8-hour shift between 7:00am-6:00pm, must be available during those hours)
Pay: $21.00–$23.00/hour
Schedule Requirements:
- Must be available to work every Sunday
- Scheduled days off will be Saturday + one weekday (may not be consecutive)
- Must be available to work holidays and during inclement weather
- This is an essential position in a 24/7 operation
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from patients and medical staff with professionalism and empathy
- Accurately document and manage sensitive information
- Provide clear, concise communication and support
- Navigate systems efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous call center experience required
- Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Proven job stability/tenure in previous roles
- Ability to work independently and learn quickly
- Comfortable handling sensitive and sometimes high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Background check required
