Executive Chef – Sports Bar & Grill

Location: Natick, MA
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually

The Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing all culinary operations for a high-volume Sports Bar & Grill in Natick, MA. This role will lead back-of-house operations, including kitchen management, menu development, food quality, inventory control, and team leadership. The Executive Chef will ensure exceptional food quality, operational efficiency, and profitability while delivering a consistent guest experience in a fast-paced, casual dining environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, line execution, plating, and presentation
  • Develop and maintain menu offerings that align with a Sports Bar & Grill concept, including specials and seasonal items
  • Create and standardize recipes, portion controls, and food quality standards
  • Train, lead, schedule, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure strong performance and team development
  • Monitor food, labor, and inventory costs to maximize profitability and minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
  • Support game day promotions, special events, and high-volume service periods
  • Foster a positive, high-energy, team-oriented kitchen culture

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant, sports bar, or casual dining environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food costing, inventory management, and food safety standards
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Experience with menu creation and executing popular, high-quality casual dining offerings
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and peak game-day/event hours as needed.
