Housekeeping Inspector (Full-Time)
Our Client, a busy hotel in Somerville, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to support daily housekeeping operations in a hotel environment. This role is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas, supporting housekeeping staff, and ensuring cleanliness and brand standards are consistently maintained.
Location: Somerville, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00AM–5:00PM
Pay: $21.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation
- Support and assist housekeeping staff throughout daily operations in rooms and public areas
- Update room statuses using the property management system
- Communicate guest concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs to management
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and hotel standards are maintained
- Assist with training support and additional housekeeping duties as needed
- Ensures that lost and found procedures are followed
Qualifications:
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Must be dependable and professional
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Comfortable working with cleaning products and housekeeping equipment
