Shipping Associate
Location: Bourne, MA
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Position Summary
The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing and processing outgoing shipments to ensure products are packed accurately, labeled correctly, and shipped on time. This role requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare outgoing shipments according to work orders and shipping instructions
- Pack, label, and palletize finished products securely and accurately
- Verify order accuracy before shipment
- Generate and apply shipping labels and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Maintain shipping area cleanliness and organization
- Assist with inventory checks as needed
- Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience
- Experience using ERP systems required
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and navigating business software
- Ability to accurately process shipping documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
