Housekeeping Attendant
Location: Somerville, MA
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Day Shift | 40 hours per week | Weekend availability preferred
Position Overview:
Our client, a hotel in Somerville, MA, is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendants to join their team. This position is responsible for ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and ready for arriving guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and assigned areas.
- Empty trash and replace liners.
- Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, or safety hazards.
- Restock housekeeping carts with linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
