Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support their operations. This role is essential in keeping materials moving smoothly, preventing delays, and ensuring the production team has what they need—when they need it.
Shift - Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor supply chain activity to prevent delays, shortages, and bottlenecks.
- Track inventory, material status, and movement to ensure timely flow of parts.
- Use the ERP system to order, receive, ship, and store materials; maintain accurate records.
- Ensure required stock is available or on order to support production needs.
- Process purchase requisitions and order necessary parts.
- Track shipments, confirm freight rates, consolidate loads, and choose the most cost-effective carriers.
- Serve as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Customer Service, Production Control, and Manufacturing.
- Provide real-time feedback on delays, shortages, or potential issues in material flow.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, material coordination, or a similar role.
- Comfort working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to communicate across departments and solve problems proactively.
