Before founding Express Livonia/Taylor, Rod built a distinguished 25-year career with Parker Hannifin, a Fortune 200 company. His extensive experience spans sales, marketing, operations, and executive management roles.

Rod most recently served as Business Unit Manager at Parker, where he led teams in program management, application and product engineering, sales, and the prototype/sample shop. One of his most notable roles was Operations Manager for a high-volume powder metal facility with over 450 employees, where he oversaw all aspects of the operation—including manufacturing engineering and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Throughout his career, Rod has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, effective team leadership, and market development. He also served as Global Market Development Manager for Parker's Mobile Climate Systems Division, where he led efforts in the Automotive OE and aftermarket sectors. Under his direction, his division grew a diverse and global customer base and managed over $150 million in sales. Rod previously held roles in aftermarket and bulk hose sales, as well as OE account sales, before transitioning into operations leadership.

Rod has been actively involved in industry innovation, serving on the SAE-IMAC Board, which developed new refrigerant emission standards for the mobile air conditioning industry.
