Express Employment is looking for a detail oriented Inventory Specialist for our client in Wayne, MI. This is a full time, long term position with chemical manufacturer. You'll help to oversee the receiving, storing and distributing processes of the organization’s products and supplies.
Inventory Specialist Responsibilities:
- Maintains company database of items purchased products
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly physical counts while keeping documentation in shared drive
- Reconciles stock count to computer generated reports
- Organize location and labeling of shelves for products/goods
- Investigates and determines the root cause of inventory discrepancies
- Receives and unpacks and delivers goods to appropriate location/department
- Re-Stocks items
- Inspects shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Process and/or approves invoices for consumables
Inventory Specialist Qualifications:
- 2+ years inventory experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong mathematical skills
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing, moving, bending, walking
