Job Full Description
We are seeking reliable, hands-on individuals to join a growing production team that builds wooden steps and platforms for modular homes. This is a steady, indoor position ideal for candidates with carpentry, construction, assembly, framing, or hand tool experience.
This role involves working with a team to assemble wooden structures using hand and power tools in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden steps and platforms according to specifications
- Measure, cut, and fasten materials using hand and power tools
- Read and use tape measures accurately
- Follow production schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist with other shop and production duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous carpentry, construction, framing, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
