Are you an experienced landscaping professional with a strong background in sod installation and outdoor labor? Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is actively hiring for a Sod Layer opening in Ham Lake, MN.
We’re looking for candidates with previous landscaping experience preferred and a passion for precision, teamwork, and working outdoors, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
💵 Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 (based on experience)
- Pay Schedule: Weekly (Every Friday)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time, Evaluation to Hire
- Work Location: Ham Lake, MN

🔧 Key Responsibilities – Sod Layer
- Prepare soil and ground for sod installation
- Lay sod efficiently and accurately
- Ensure proper watering and maintenance of newly laid sod
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
✅ Required Experience & Skills
- Experience in landscaping or sod laying – Preferred
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass a background check
