Maintenance Technician – $28+/Hour (DOE)
Position Overview
Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity with a well‑established company in Hugo, MN. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and ensuring safe, efficient facility operations.
Pay & Schedule

Hourly Pay: $28+/hour (depending on qualifications)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 45 hours per week

Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM or later, depending on business needs

Key Responsibilities
-
Perform complex preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machines, vehicles, equipment, and facility grounds
-
Develop and execute a preventative maintenance program in accordance with manufacturer standards and regulatory requirements

Maintain inventory of maintenance parts; initiate purchase requisitions as needed

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle maintenance checks
-
Audit buildings for OSHA compliance
-
Assist with general building and grounds maintenance
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
2–5 years industrial machine maintenance/technician experience required

Prefinish/paint machine maintenance experience a plus

Building maintenance experience
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and industry knowledge

Ability to safely operate equipment as needed

Capable of standing for extended periods
-
Able to work in a warehouse environment with concrete flooring and varying temperatures

Able to lift 50+ lbs comfortably

Consistent work history with strong, verifiable references

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Self‑starter with strong motivation and initiative

Ability to see the “big picture” and prioritize effectively

Flexibility to work overtime when needed

Must pass pre‑employment background check and drug screen
