Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, exam rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas
- Follow clinic-specific cleaning and infection-control procedures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces using approved cleaning products
- Empty trash and biohazard waste containers according to established procedures
- Restock restroom, paper, and sanitation supplies as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness and safety standards
- Follow all facility policies regarding confidentiality, safety, and workplace cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Background check required
- Ability to work independently and maintain a dependable attendance record
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or clinical cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Experience working in a healthcare or medical environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary facility
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work some weekends as needed
