Job Full Description
We are seeking an Industrial Painter to join our team! This role will focus on painting pipe fittings, joints, and assemblies using a spray gun, paint booth, and bead blasting equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and bead blasting as necessary
• Apply coatings to pipe fittings, joints, and assemblies using spray gun and paint booth equipment
• Ensure all painted products meet company quality standards and specifications.
• Mix and thin paints and coatings according to product data sheets and job requirements
• Maintain paint equipment, spray guns, and booths in clean and safe working order
• Safely handle and store paints, solvents, and other chemicals in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of industrial painting experience
• Automotive painting experience is a strong plus
• Willing to submit to drug and background screening
• Familiarity with bead blasting equipment and surface preparation techniques
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions, safety guidelines, and material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment with exposure to fumes, dust, and varying temperatures.
