Job Full Description
We are currently hiring Maintenance Technicians for a well-established coffee roaster. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and improving our state-of-the-art coffee roasting, grinding, and packaging equipment. You’ll ensure our production runs safely, efficiently, and at the highest quality—so every cup meets our customers’ expectations.

Monday- Friday
8a-430p – 1st Shift
4p-12:30 – 2nd Shift
Must be able to work OT and Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery, including roasters, grinders, conveyors, and packaging systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Document work performed—track repairs, parts usage, and maintenance logs through the work order system.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and startup of new coffee production equipment.
- Maintain facility upkeep, performing light building repairs and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Monitor spare parts inventory, suggest improvements, and order replacement parts as needed.
- Partner with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement.
- Champion safety—follow and promote all company safety policies and best practices.
Knowledge & Skills
- Any relevant technical certifications (e.g., electrical, PLCs, welding, or mechanical) are highly valued.
- Willing to submit to drug and background screening
- Familiarity with coffee roasting, grinding, or packaging machinery a plus.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Working knowledge of preventive maintenance best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Skilled in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in safe use of hand and power tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
