Job Full Description
JOB DUTIES:
· Spray areas with herbicides assuring control of noxious weeds
· Mix various herbicides to the correct proportions, assess wind direction and speed
· Record location of weed areas, areas that have been sprayed and areas of future needs on the appropriate maps of Southwest Montana.
· Assist in recording services rendered to property owners noting the extent of spraying operations and fees to be charged.
· May be required to work unconventional work hours and be subject to call-back or stand-by status due to weather conditions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to work effectively with assigned personnel, other departments, agencies and the public
· Must be able to walk, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, lift, sit and squat with approximately 40 lbs for a minimum of 6 hours per day, sometimes in rough terrain.
· Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record
· Ability to drive a manual vehicle
· Drug Screen Required
