Summary:
The Dietary Cook prepares and serves meals, following dietary orders and recipes, ensuring food safety and quality. Communicates with residents and families about food preferences and assists in meal planning. Operates kitchen equipment and maintains cleanliness.
Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and serve meals per dietary orders.

Ensure food safety, monitor food temperatures.

Restock nutritional carts and snacks.

Assist with meal adjustments, substitutions, and table setting.

Communicate with residents and attend care plan meetings when needed.
Requirements:

No formal education required; food prep and hygiene coursework a plus.

Experience with commercial kitchen equipment.

Strong communication and math skills.

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a warm, fast-paced kitchen.
Conditions:
