Job Full Description
Job Title: 1st Shift - Packer- HEAVY
Location: Oakland, New Jersey 07436
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00
- Duties & Responsibilities:
Monitor’s product quality frequently; reporting problems to mitigate safety issues
Operates various pieces of equipment
Reports any mechanical problems
Operate the bulk filling equipment to fill the appropriate containers to the
specific weight.
Seals containers in the required manner
Palletize containers using prescribed pattern
Build totes and boxes
Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities
to improve processes
Follows OSHA, FDA, GMP, HACCP and SQF guidelines
Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Performs other duties as assigned
- Physical Requirements:
Continually required to stand/walk
Continually required to bend, stoop, kneel and reach
Continually required to lift/push/carry items up to 60 pounds.
Occasionally required to climb
Continually required to work near moving mechanical parts
Continually required to work in an aromatic environment due to the variety of
spices we use
