Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Our client in Ocean County, NJ is seeking a skilled Powder Coater to join their small, close-knit manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare Parts: Clean, sand, and mask metal parts for powder coating.

Rack & Un-Rack Parts: Load and unload parts before and after coating.

Apply Powder Coating: Use spray equipment to achieve proper thickness and uniform coverage, adjusting equipment as needed.

Curing: Load parts into curing ovens and monitor proper temperatures and timing for durable finishes.

Quality Control: Inspect coated parts for quality, thickness, and finish; touch up or rework as necessary.

Equipment Maintenance: Keep spray equipment and work area clean and organized.

Inventory & Materials: Monitor powder supplies and related materials to support production.

Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with coworkers and supervisors, coordinating workflow and meeting project deadlines.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and consistently use appropriate PPE while handling chemicals, solvents, and acetone.

Physical Tasks: Move, lift, and transport parts up to 50 lbs; stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as required.
Qualifications

3+ years of powder coating experience.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify coating defects.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Comfortable with physical requirements: lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and repetitive tasks.

Knowledge of safety protocols and proper handling of materials.

Ability to work independently while thriving in a small team environment.

Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
