Millwright – Precision Balancing Pro Wanted Field Based Greater Philadelphia Area Full-Time | $33–$38/hr | Rotating Equipment Focus Are you a hands-on mechanical problem-solver who knows your way around pumps, fans, and rotating machinery? We’re looking for a Millwright with solid experience in industrial equipment and a sharp eye for dynamic balancing to join our tight-knit work environment. Most of your work will be in the Greater Philadelphia area, supporting clients in various industries. Company headquarters is in Central NJ. Our client is a privately owned, family-run company that’s been in business for nearly 90 years — built on a foundation of trust, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships. What You’ll Do: • Perform field and shop balancing on pumps, fans, blowers, and rotating machinery • Use vibration analysis tools to identify and correct misalignment and imbalance issues • Tear down and reassemble equipment with precision and care • Read mechanical drawings and specs to guide your work • Work on-site at industrial facilities (power plants, water treatment, manufacturing, etc.) • Keep detailed balancing reports and maintenance records • Stay safe, stay sharp, and work as part of a team that’s got each other’s backs What You Bring: • Solid experience as a Millwright (3+ years preferred) • Strong skills in dynamic balancing and vibration analysis • Familiarity with laser alignment systems, dial indicators, and balancing machines • A proven strong mechanical sense and the ability to troubleshoot on the fly in an industrial environment • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic • Willingness to travel regionally for jobs across the Philadelphia metro area • Bonus: OSHA certification, experience with pump rebuilds or fan installations What We Offer: • Competitive hourly pay: $33–$38/hr, based on experience • A family-style work environment where you're more than just a number • Overtime opportunities and room to grow • Projects that keep you learning and never stuck in one place • Comprehensive benefits package Sound like a good fit?
