Reach Truck & Sit‑Down Forklift Operator
Location: Millville, NJ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour
Employment Type: Full‑time
🧭 Role Overview
This position supports daily warehouse and production operations within a food‑processing facility. The operator is responsible for safely moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using both a reach truck and sit‑down forklift, while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and compliance with food‑safety standards.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Operate a reach truck and sit‑down forklift to move, stack, and organize materials.

Load and unload trailers, pallets, and production lines.

Transport ingredients and finished products between storage, processing, and shipping areas.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

Maintain accurate inventory movement through scanning or manual logs.

Follow all food‑safety, GMP, and facility sanitation requirements.

Keep aisles, racking, and work areas clean and hazard‑free.

Support general warehouse tasks as needed (palletizing, staging, wrapping, etc.).
📦 Qualifications

Experience operating a reach truck and sit‑down forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one upon hire).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a food‑processing environment (temperature‑controlled, cleanliness standards, PPE).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking.
