Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Downtown Asheville
Duration: Long-term temporary through March 22nd
Our client, a well-established professional association in Downtown Asheville, is looking for an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Event & Member Coordination Specialist to support a major upcoming industry event.
Think event planning meets project coordination. You’ll be working closely with members and vendors to get everything organized, scheduled, and ready for a large professional expo-style event. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating moving parts, working with people, and keeping projects on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

Coordinate with members and participants to get them registered, organized, and set up for the event

Track details, deadlines, and assignments using spreadsheets and internal systems

Manage lists, schedules, and participation details

Communicate with both members and non-members regarding requirements, timelines, and logistics
-
Help keep all moving parts organized, accurate, and on schedule

Provide general project and administrative support to the team leading up to the event
What They’re Looking For

Strong organizational and coordination skills

Comfortable managing spreadsheets and tracking details

Professional communication skills (phone, email, follow-up)
