Maintenance Technician – Production Equipment
Location: Fletcher Area
Pay: $25 – $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Additional overtime may be required during the week for housekeeping tasks, with optional overtime available on weekends.
A manufacturing company in the Fletcher area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment on a knife manufacturing line. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hob mill equipment to ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot hob mill equipment used in the production process

Adjust tooling fixtures and components for manual hob mills as needed

Assist with installation and removal of hob mills in a safe and efficient manner

Inspect machine systems including water, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical connections

Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with milling equipment

Support machine changeovers and ensure proper alignment of equipment

Conduct quality checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly

Maintain organization of hob mills and machine components

Enter maintenance or production information into the ERP system as required

Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
-
2–3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, or a similar manufacturing role

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to read vernier, digital, and dial calipers

Proficiency working within the metric measurement system

Basic machining knowledge required; milling experience preferred

Experience working with manufacturing equipment maintenance preferred

Ability to enter and track information in an ERP system

Forklift experience preferred and ability to become forklift certified

Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a production environment

Willingness to work overtime, including weekends when needed
