Job Full Description
The Warehouse Support Team Member is responsible for the accurate movement, preparation, picking, weighing, and documentation of finished goods and raw materials within the warehouse. This role supports shipping, receiving, small-parcel processing, manufacturing execution, and inventory activities by safely handling materials and maintaining accurate transactions in the warehouse. The position plays a key role in ensuring product integrity, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments.
Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. $20/hr to start.
Essential Functions
• Move materials between production, storage, and shipping areas
• Pick and verify items using system directed pick lists
• Prepare shipments by palletizing, labeling, weighing, and staging
• Process shipments using small parcel carrier systems
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts or handling equipment
• Record all material movements in Syspro and MES
• Segregate and relocate non conforming materials
• Verify shipment counts, weights, and documentation accuracy
• Train and support new warehouse team members
• Collaborate with teams to meet shipping and inventory goals
Physical Requirements
• Ability to safely operate a fork lift (experience required)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during scheduled shifts
Skill Requirements
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and transaction processing
• Ability to use bar code scanners, small parcel shipping systems, warehouse management systems (Syspro), and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and ability to be trained on required systems
• Basic math skills to perform counting, weighing, and unit conversions; calculator use is permitted as needed
• Ability to read, understand, and write legibly in English
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
