Machinist – 2nd Shift $24-$25 DOE
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our 2nd shift manufacturing team. This position offers a unique schedule with a three-day weekend, providing excellent work-life balance while working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings.
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to support machining and assembly operations.
- Follow safety procedures and lean manufacturing practices to ensure efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Previous machinist experience required.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, CNC mills, and CNC lathes.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM equipment.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as needed.
