Architectural Project Accountant – $50,000–$80,000/Year DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Downtown Asheville, NC
Full-Time | Onsite
A respected architecture and design firm in Downtown Asheville is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Project Accountant to join their growing team. This role is responsible for supporting the financial side of multiple projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, project tracking, and reconciliations.
Candidates with architecture, engineering, or construction accounting experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Track project budgets, invoices, and financial activity
• Reconcile accounts and assist with monthly reporting
• Process vendor invoices and client billing
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and project accounting software
• Work closely with project managers to monitor project finances
• Support additional accounting functions as needed
What They're Looking For
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience required
• Architecture firm experience strongly preferred
• Engineering or construction accounting experience also considered
• Experience with QuickBooks Online required
• Deltek Ajera experience is a major plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
