Temporary Benefits Coordinator
Open Enrollment & Benefits Administration | $30-$35/hour
Our client, McGill, is looking for an experienced Benefits Coordinator to provide critical HR support during a temporary assignment from September 2026 through February 2027.

Compensation
- $30-$35/hour DOE
- Up to 40 hours per week
- Temporary assignment: September 2026 - February 2027
- 100% onsite in Asheville
In This Role, You'll
- Lead benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, disability, FSA/HSA, and retirement plans
- Support annual open enrollment and qualifying life events
- Coordinate COBRA administration and benefit vendor relationships
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and leave administration
- Maintain HRIS records and personnel files
- Audit benefit invoices and payroll deductions
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance projects
You're a Great Fit If You Have
- Five or more years of HR experience with a strong focus on benefits
- Experience administering employee benefit programs
- Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality
- SHRM or PHR certification is a plus
