Finance & Business Operations Manager
$80,000 to $95,000/year DOE
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Asheville Area
We are seeking seeking an experienced Finance & Business Operations Manager to oversee financial operations while helping drive the day-to-day success of a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing accounting, strategic planning, and operational leadership in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the organization's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.
- Coordinate annual audits and work with outside accountants.
- Develop and improve financial and operational processes for greater efficiency.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Assist with strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Supervise and support administrative and financial staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting, finance, or business operations experience.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and payroll.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to leadership.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
