Entry-Level Payment Processing & Office Assistant
Asheville, NC | $18–$20 per hour | Monday–Friday
Are you dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a stable position where you can learn and grow? A professional Asheville company is hiring an Entry-Level Payment Processing & Office Assistant to become a long-term member of its team.
No accounting experience is required—the right person will receive training! This is a great opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay organized and accurate.
What You’ll Do
- Process and post payments to customer accounts
- Sort incoming mail and maintain organized records
- Review, scan, and file business documents
- Complete data entry accurately and efficiently
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally
- Assist with daily business-related errands
- Support management and other departments with administrative projects
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- A friendly and professional personality
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to ask questions and learn
- Sound judgment and respect for confidential information
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Interest in a stable, long-term position
Previous office, administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, or payment-processing experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule and Pay
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with some flexibility
- In-person position in Asheville
- $18–$20 per hour, depending on experience
