CNC Machinist
Location: Hendersonville / Flat Rock, NC
Pay: $24.00–$27.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
1st Shift
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is comfortable setting up, operating, and programming CNC equipment and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality parts.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Program CNC machines to produce precision metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform tool changes, machine adjustments, and calibration
- Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot tooling, programming, and machine issues
- Complete production logs, setup documentation, and inspection records
- Use precision measuring tools to verify finished parts
What We’re Looking For
- Previous CNC machining experience
- Experience with CNC programming, milling, and lathes
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of machine setup, fixtures, and tooling alignment
- Experience with CAM software
- Understanding of machining processes including milling, turning, grinding, and EDM
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and CMM equipment
- Strong basic math and measurement skills
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused
