Job Full Description
Position Summary The 2nd Shift HP Indigo 12K Operator is responsible for the setup, calibration, operation, and maintenance of the HP Indigo 12K digital press. This role ensures accurate, consistent output of high-quality printed materials while meeting production deadlines. Operators are expected to troubleshoot issues, inspect output, and keep the press running efficiently throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities - Operate the HP Indigo 12K digital press during 2nd shift hours with minimal supervision. - Set up jobs according to press specifications, job tickets, and color standards. - Monitor print quality continuously, making real-time adjustments for color, alignment, and registration. - Perform routine maintenance and calibrations (ILC, blanket changes, etc.). - Follow daily job queues and report any issues that may delay production. - Complete production logs and submit accurate shift reports. - Work with prepress and finishing teams to ensure proper handoff of jobs. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area according to plant guidelines. - Identify and escalate mechanical issues to maintenance when needed.
