Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher
Answer inbound calls from homeowners, property managers, and repeat customers with a friendly, professional tone. Gather detailed information about plumbing issues to ensure accurate job creation and technician preparation. Schedule service appointments, confirm availability, and set clear expectations for arrival windows. Provide updates to customers regarding technician ETA, delays, or rescheduling needs. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through empathy, clarity, and proactive communication. Handle basic troubleshooting questions and guide customers through next steps when appropriate. Assign jobs to technicians based on skillset, location, workload, and urgency. Monitor technician progress throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed. Communicate job details, special instructions, and customer notes to technicians. Track job statuses in the dispatching system to ensure accurate workflow and timely completion. Coordinate emergency or same-day service calls with efficiency and urgency. Maintain awareness of technician routes to minimize drive time and maximize productivity. Create and update service tickets, customer profiles, and job notes in the CRM system. Process payments over the phone when needed. Assist with follow-up calls, warranty scheduling, and customer satisfaction check-ins. Support office operations with filing, documentation, and communication tasks. Ensure all customer interactions are logged accurately for future reference.
