Agricultural Warehouse Lead – Direct Hire Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a reputable client partner seeking an experienced Agricultural Warehouse Lead to join their team in Tangent, OR. This is a direct hire leadership opportunity offering excellent benefits, PTO, retirement options, and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee receiving, repacking, processing coordination, and shipping of seed and steck materials
- Ensure seed and steck quality is maintained throughout storage and warehouse processes
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, storage areas, and inventory accuracy
- Lead, organize, and supervise contract labor teams throughout the processing season
- Support staffing plans and assign daily workloads
- Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities in a hands-on leadership role
- Utilize SAP and other company software systems to maintain records, reports, and warehouse projections
- Order and maintain warehouse consumable materials
- Support additional operational needs including seed production field maintenance and steck nursery planting
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Operate forklifts and travel/drive as needed for business purposes
- Maintain dependable attendance and assist with additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Several years of warehouse supervision experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills required
- Forklift certification required
- Agricultural experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills preferred
- Experience with inventory systems, warehouse processes, and SAP software preferred
