Responsibilities:
· Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming, both indoors and outdoors within the fairgrounds.
· Empty and clean trash cans and recycling bins, adhering to proper waste disposal and recycling procedures.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies and monitoring cleanliness throughout the day.
· Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, including walkways, seating areas and food courts.
· Assist with the setup and teardown of various events, including moving equipment, chairs, tables, and other materials as required.
· Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
· Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and promptly resolving any cleaning-related concerns.
Requirements:
· Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure completion of tasks within designated timeframes.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, following instructions and communicating effectively.
· Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including bending, reaching, standing for extended periods of time, a great deal of walking, lifting (up to 30lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
