Welder
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Seeking a skilled Welder to perform welding and brazing operations on various metals and alloys. This position is responsible for setting up pre-fitted parts, interpreting specifications, and producing quality welds according to required standards.
Job Duties:
Set up and prepare pre-fitted parts for welding.
Perform hand welding and brazing operations on various metals and alloys.
Read and work from specifications, drawings, prints, and welding symbols.
Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rulers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
Select appropriate electrodes, tips, and rods based on material type and welding requirements.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Requirements:
Previous welding experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding instructions.
Experience using welding tools and measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
