Job Full Description
In this role, you will utilize a variety of welding techniques, including TIG and MIG welding, to join metals such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. You will fabricate and assemble components and equipment to meet precise specifications, including performing tube and pipe welding on mild steel. Responsibilities also include constructing both simple and complex fabrications from sheet metal and plate—such as tanks, frames, and hoppers—based on detailed engineering drawings.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess strong expertise in industrial metal fabrication, keen attention to detail, and solid mathematical aptitude. The ideal candidate consistently produces high-quality work that meets exact design and performance standards.
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to complete a weld test. This assessment includes welding in 2G and 3G positions on mild steel and stainless steel using MIG, TIG, and flux-core processes, working with materials ranging from 14 gauge and 10 gauge up to 3/16", with the possibility of thicker materials such as 3/8" and 1/2".

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of experience as a welder/fabricator
Proficiency with standard welding processes and equipment, including MIG, TIG, and flux-core
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques to produce clean, durable welds
Ability to perform quality checks, verify specifications before cutting, and inspect completed welds for defects
Experience with hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers), and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cranes, forklifts)
Understanding of safe handling practices for propane and pressurized gas cylinders
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including a fit-for-duty and drug test
