Job Full Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Asphalt and Roof Demolition Laborer to join our construction/demolition team. This role involves the safe and efficient removal of asphalt surfaces and roofing materials from residential, commercial, and industrial properties. The ideal candidate has experience in demolition, uses tools and equipment safely, and is comfortable working in physically demanding environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Asphalt Demolition:

Break up asphalt surfaces using jackhammers, saws, or heavy machinery.

Load and remove debris using wheelbarrows, skid steers, or dump trucks.

Prepare the site for resurfacing or new construction.

Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the job site.
Roof Demolition:

Safely tear off old roofing materials (shingles, underlayment, flashing, etc.).

Use roofing shovels, pry bars, and other tools to remove roof layers.

Transport and dispose of roofing debris.
-
Ensure roof decking is prepared for repairs or new installation.
