Job Full Description
Job Title: General Laborer (PART TIME) – Concrete Company
Job Summary: Assist with concrete construction tasks, including site preparation, mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete. Perform physical labor and support tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Preparation: Clear debris, level ground, and set up safety barriers.
- Concrete Mixing/Pouring: Mix and pour concrete, ensure proper measurement and consistency.
- Formwork: Set up, secure, and remove concrete forms.
- Finishing Work: Smooth and texture concrete surfaces using tools.
- Tool Operation: Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
- Safety: Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Material Handling: Transport and handle materials.
Qualifications:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work.
- Basic Math Skills: Understand measurements and calculations.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure quality in concrete work.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous construction or concrete work experience is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions with potential exposure to noise and dust.
