Now Hiring: Staff Accountant – Part-Time / Full-Time | $28/hr | Chiloquin Area
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for our client! We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team in payroll and accounts payable. This is a part-time position with potential for full-time, paying $28/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll, payroll taxes, and payroll deductions accurately
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Maintain vendor files and 1099 documentation
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting and financial planning activities
- Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate Degree or 3+ years experience in Accounting required
- 1+ year experience with QuickBooks and accounting systems
- 3+ years payroll and accounts payable experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Dependable, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
