Job Full Description
The HR Training & Outreach Coordinator II supports both internal employee development and external community engagement efforts. This role coordinates company-wide training programs, facilitates onboarding and development activities, and represents the organization at local schools, career fairs, and community events to strengthen talent pipelines. This position requires strong organization, communication, and relationship-building skills and is ideal for someone with prior HR, training, or community engagement experience.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate employee training programs, including onboarding, compliance, and skill development.
- Manage training calendars, logistics, scheduling, materials, and attendance tracking.
- Partner with internal SMEs and external vendors to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Maintain training records, LMS data, and reporting dashboards.
- Support evaluation and continuous improvements to training programs.
- Assist with internal engagement initiatives that strengthen communication, culture, and connection.
- Support HR-led programs such as town halls, workshops, and learning communities.
- Respond to employee questions related to training, development, and HR resources.
- Help communicate HR programs and initiatives across the company.
- Represent the company at local high schools, colleges, career fairs, and workforce programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and community partners.
- Coordinate participation in school events, presentations, and employment branding activities.
- Support early-career pathways such as internships, job shadowing, and campus engagement.
- Support HR initiatives related to talent development, engagement, DEI, and culture.
- Support the Innovation Dept. to ensure appropriate training programs are being launched and updated.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and program summaries for HR leadership.
- Ensure training and outreach programs meet company compliance, quality, and business needs.
- Collaborate with Innovation, Human Resources, Talent, Safety, and leadership teams to support shared goals.
- Assist with greeting visitors, supporting guests, and fielding incoming phone calls as needed.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Education, Communications, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of experience in HR, training coordination, community outreach, education, or related work
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience with HRIS or LMS platforms.
- Experience supporting company training programs or onboarding.
- Experience in community engagement or school partnerships.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles.
