Job Summary: The Belt Operator will be responsible for moving material, loading belt furnaces, checking in-process part hardness, loading temper furnaces, and racking parts. The role involves operating various equipment and ensuring the accurate completion of assigned tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and load belt furnaces.
- Read, follow, and accurately complete job cards.
- Load and unload draw furnaces.
- Set temperatures on draw furnaces.
- Perform hardness testing.
- Rack, string, and hang parts as needed.
- Set up and break down loads.
- Enter job card information into the ERP system.
- Operate a forklift.
- Follow paperwork flow, QA, and Shop Floor policies and procedures.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
