Job Full Description
The Millwright will install, maintain, and repair critical mechanical systems used in food and beverage production. This role involves working with conveyors, pumps, mixers, and packaging equipment. A strong mechanical background and a proactive approach to reducing equipment downtime are key to success.
Job Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform corrective repairs.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Align, level, and adjust mechanical components.
- Weld or fabricate basic parts as needed for equipment repair.
- Work with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
- Follow sanitary and safety guidelines specific to food and beverage processing.
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize equipment downtime.
