We’re currently hiring a Security Guard to support a residential facility where maintaining order, safety, and communication is key. In this essential role, you’ll help monitor the movement of residents and staff, enforce safety protocols, and ensure ongoing communication between team members.
You’ll conduct both scheduled and random safety checks, use tools like security cameras and radios, and respond quickly and appropriately to any issues that arise. Your attention to detail, calm presence, and ability to document activity thoroughly will help maintain a secure, well-run facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the movement of staff and residents to ensure accountability and security
- Conduct perimeter and facility checks to maintain a safe environment
- Operate surveillance equipment (radios, cameras, etc.) to detect and address concerns
- Communicate with team members and assign staff coverage as needed
- Respond to incidents calmly and professionally; report irregularities accurately and promptly
- Maintain detailed daily activity logs and shift summaries
- Assist in the smooth transition of residents between areas within the facility
- Provide briefings during shift changes to ensure continuity
- Follow trauma-informed care practices and complete required training
