We’re looking for a forward-thinking, solution-oriented Senior Innovation Technical Developer with a strong background in textiles and apparel development. You’ll be working on industry-leading innovation projects—turning big ideas into functional, high-performance products. From 2D sketches to 3D prototypes, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how products are designed, built, and worn. We’re seeking someone who thrives in cross-functional teams, understands the full lifecycle of apparel and footwear creation, and has the technical expertise to build products from the ground up. Bonus points if you're comfortable in the gray areas of innovation and love turning “what ifs” into “what’s next.”
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead complex apparel innovation projects from concept to prototype
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to translate creative ideas into 3D and 2D product representations
- Use your expertise in fit, patternmaking, and garment construction to bring new ideas to life
- Drive research and development efforts to explore new methods of make and construction processes
- Communicate closely with garment factories and innovation centers to support end-to-end development
- Explore and implement advanced techniques using 3D design software like CLO
- Facilitate athlete fit sessions and guide prototype reviews to ensure top-tier performance and comfort
- Manage product security, timelines, and workflow to keep projects on track
- Provide grading expertise, especially for performance-focused apparel like bras and compression garments
- Generate and present documentation, reports, and concepts at the functional level for cross-team alignment
