Job Full Description
We are seeking an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter to install, repair, and maintain piping systems on commercial and industrial job sites. In this role, you’ll work with various pipe materials, read and interpret blueprints, and ensure all installations meet safety and code requirements. This position is ideal for someone who is skilled, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew.
Job Duties
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems for water, steam, gas, or other industrial uses
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using both hand and power tools
- Install fixtures, valves, hangers, supports, and related plumbing components
- Test piping systems for leaks, pressure integrity, and proper functionality
- Diagnose issues and perform troubleshooting and repairs as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure work complies with local and state plumbing codes
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure tools/equipment are in good working condition
- Document completed work and communicate progress or issues with supervisors
