Job Full Description
Join our local service team in Tigard as a Commercial Kitchen Appliance Repair Technician, specializing in maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment such as ice machines, commercial stove tops, dishwashers, refrigerators, ovens, and more. You’ll handle both routine maintenance and repairs, as well as new equipment installations, supporting restaurants with reliable service.
PA certification to manage refrigerant system repairs and your CFESA certification to work on gas, steam, refrigeration, and electrical systems. Each day, you’ll pick up parts, drive a company van to job sites, and provide excellent customer service. Starting mid-year, you will be able to take the company van home.
After the interview, you’ll complete an online assessment to help us understand your skills across different equipment types, ensuring the best match with assignments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen appliances including refrigeration units, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, and ice machines

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime

Install new commercial kitchen equipment according to specifications and safety standards

Safely handle refrigerants and complex system repairs in line with PA and CFESA certifications

Manage daily parts pickup and efficient routing using a company van

Document work performed and communicate effectively with clients and team members

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
