Are you someone who enjoys being out in the field, working hands-on, and ensuring construction quality and safety? We’re hiring Construction Materials Field Technicians to join our team and support projects throughout the area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on active construction sites, perform testing of materials like soil, concrete, and asphalt, and be a key part of keeping projects on track and up to code.
We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy being outdoors, tackling challenges, and learning new skills. Whether you have certifications or are just getting started in the industry, we want to talk to you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform field testing on construction materials including soil, concrete, and asphalt
- Operate specialized testing tools such as a nuclear density gauge
- Collect and transport samples to the lab for additional testing
- Accurately complete daily field reports and documentation
- Communicate with clients, supervisors, and contractors on-site
- Follow all ASTM, AASHTO, and safety protocols to ensure compliance
- Support quality control and help projects meet technical specifications
